Sales - Account Executive (Toronto Region)

PRIMARY DUTIES:

The Account Executive at Dollco Integrated Print Solutions will professionally represent the company, with the support of Sales Management and Marketing, in soliciting new business.  This person uses his/her own industry knowledge and initiative to develop and procure new business from market segments and in the product lines that fit Dollco.  In addition to business development, achievement of sales targets for new and existing business sales, and maintaining of high business standards and professionalism in representing the company are key.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Identify new business opportunities that are a fit for Dollco
  • Provide business solutions to fit the need of these opportunities
  • Pursue and close new business in specific vertical markets
  • Service and obtain more business from existing customers
  • Research, prepare and present client proposals/solutions
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas
  • Communicate activity/results to the VP, Sales
  • Network and promote company in the business community
  • Work with a designated CSR to provide seamless interaction with your clients

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in the printing industry
  • Recent sales experience with the Federal Government would be an asset
  • minimum post-secondary education in areas such as direct marketing, design and print processes
  • Proven track record in solution selling and generating new business revenue
  • Experience with prospecting and cold calling
  • Knowledge of the print industry, in particular, various print solutions including web & sheetfed printing, variable digital and print-on-demand services and direct mail would be an asset
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Bilingualism would be an asset
  • Basic Computer skills (i.e. Internet, Email, Microsoft Office)
  • Internet and list prospecting skills
